Hi, I'm Jeff

Since I was a kid, I have always loved the thrill of a roller coaster! As a father of two teenage children, taking vacations to theme parks seemed natural. Disney vacations and Universal Orlando have been my family's favorites. With close to 20 Disney vacations (including Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney cruises), and 4 vacations to Universal Orlando, I have become an expert with all things Disney and Universal. My family has loved Disney so much that we became Disney Vacation Club members 10 years ago.

After spending 35 years in industry and the education field as a high school teacher, biostatistician, and college instructor, I recently retired from Oregon State University to pursue my passion in planning travel as a travel agent with Dream Big Destinations. In addition to Disney and Universal vacations, my travels have taken me all around the United States, Canada, parts of Mexico, many Caribbean islands, and 11 different countries in Europe. I have been on cruises in the Caribbean and Europe, escorted and self-drive tours in Europe, and camping trips throughout the United States and Canada. Being adventurous, I have taken many bicycle tours, backpacking trips, and canoe and kayaking expeditions throughout the western United States and Canada.

It’s hard to pick out a favorite trip as I haven’t ever had a bad vacation. But perhaps the most special trip was our nearly three-week adventure to Europe centered around a Taylor Swift concert in London my wife and daughter attended. The trip started with a week-long Disney cruise from England to Norway and back. After the cruise, we spent four nights in London before venturing to Ireland on a seven-day self-drive tour of the western coast.

Whether it's Disney, Universal, a river cruise, an expedition, or something else, I'd love to help plan your next adventure!
